I’m taking a break from the main strip to explore the more peaceful side of Pattaya, at a vibrant local market in Jomtien Beach. I was hunting down an authentic, traditional Thai grooming experience—and I found an absolute gem of a local barbershop.
Watch as this incredibly skilled female barber gives me an ultra-satisfying, razor smooth shave. But the experience didn’t stop there! Just when I thought we were finished, she completely surprised me by turning the barber chair into a traditional Thai massage session right on the spot. It’s the ultimate relax, travel, and pamper experience
The absolute best part? The total for this incredible, top-tier treatment was just 120 Thai Baht ($3.69 USD) for the works! You truly cannot beat the hospitality, skill, and value of local Thai barbers.
To wrap up an amazing day, I head into downtown Pattaya City to visit Cafe Nik Nok for a big, hot cup of Americano coffee, made by their incredibly friendly barista.
