Descriptions:

In response to the launch of a scheduled flight between Sendai and Hong Kong for the first time in 13 years, Miyagi Prefecture announced a campaign offering 10,000 yen cash back to passengers under 30 years of age. Scheduled flights between Sendai Airport and Hong Kong will be operated by low-cost carrier Izumo Hong Kong Greater Bay Airlines from December 7 and Hong Kong Express from January 17 next year, with four roundtrip flights per week. In this regard, the prefecture will conduct a campaign from December 7 this year to February 28 next year, targeting young people arriving on flights from Hong Kong, to promote the use of Sendai Airport. Eligible individuals under 30 years of age will receive 10,000 yen cashback if their expenses on airfare, accommodation, etc. exceed 50,000 yen. Miyagi Prefectural Governor Murai: “Please take this opportunity to enjoy your trip to Hong Kong using Sendai Airport, and I hope you will come back again after this. We must increase the number of outbound and inbound travel.” Applications can be submitted on a special website starting October 7. Applications will be closed and will end once the budget has been reached.
