On the other hand, the price is the fourth highest since 1996, when the fuel price adjustment system was introduced, and continues to remain high. Government subsidies due to soaring electricity rates ended with the November bill, but the government has decided to renew them from February to April next year. The subsidy amount is 2.5 yen per kilowatt-hour in February and March and 1.3 yen in April.
