The end-of-term mayoral election for Tagajo mayor has been announced and two people have put forward their candidacy – an incumbent and a newcomer. The two candidates running for the Tagajo mayoral election are independents by way of notice: Akio Endo (70), the new former city councilor, and Kosuke Fukaya (44), the incumbent. Independent/Newcomer Akio Endo: “Create a society where we can tell the elderly, people with disabilities and children that we are happy to live in Tagajo.” Independent/Incumbent Kosuke Fukaya: “Thank you very much. “Without forgetting my feelings, I will continue to humbly and courageously move Tagajo City forward over the next four years, as I have always done.” Tagajo City has 50,000 voters. There are 1,880 people in total and voting will take place in October. 6th.
