Today we’re exploring the famous Chiang Dao Cave — a place that’s absolutely worth the trip. Part of the cave is nicely lit and easy to wander through, but the deeper section is completely dark and can only be explored with a local guide and a lantern. Let’s just say… trekking through pitch‑black passages was quite the experience.

After surviving the darkness, we treated ourselves to a delicious coffee break at Mountainella Café in downtown Chiang Dao. Great coffee, amazing sweets, and honestly… choosing just one dessert felt impossible.
