-Filmmaker Statement-
Loopy is a short horror film made during the early days of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Inspired by the seemingly endless mundanity brought on by a life in quarantine, the filmmakers set out to capture the feeling of this new normal; a feeling we’ve all been forced to become painfully familiar with.

-Contest Description-
Steeltown, once again, invited our community to pick up their camera (or phone) and CREATE, while they shelter-in-place during the COVID-19 pandemic!
The theme of the contest is “connection”. Participants are encouraged to utilize constraints such as crews of one, short timeline, limited set options, etc., to their creative advantage and had to adhere to the CDC’s guidelines to stop the spread of the virus.
