July was a pretty good reading month for me, with a mx of average boring reads like Vi Keeland’s The Baller and Shelby Mahurin’s Serpent & Dove, and amazing reads like Girl, Serpent, Thorn by Melissa Bashardoust (which is gay and sweet and inspired by Persian myths), French Kissing Season 1 by Harper Bliss (which is sexy and filled with lesbians dealing with love, life, sex and endless amount of drama!!), and the utterly brilliant The City We Became by N.K. Jemisin which now thoroughly owns me, mind, body and soul and has shot up as one of my absolute favourite books of all time!!!
