In this video, I explore the stunning Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen temple complex, home to the breathtaking Big Golden Buddha that dominates the skyline. I wander through the peaceful temple grounds, visit the impressive chedi’s and hidden corners, and soak in the spiritual atmosphere of this beautiful riverside complex with loads of canals.
Then I head across the river to a local café with the BEST view of the Iconic Big Golden Buddha honestly one of the most unreal viewpoints in Bangkok. 📸
After that, I dive deep into the historic neighborhood of Talat Phlu. Full of charm, history, and incredible street food. I explore the local market, try authentic Thai dishes, visit Talat Phlu Railway Station, and even eat delicious crusty pork ribs at a restaurant where the train passes right by the window (such a cool experience!).
From juicy steak rice bowls to hidden local favorites, this area is a true foodie paradise.
To end the day, I head to the iconic King Power Mahanakhon SkyWalk for sunset… and WOW… the views over Bangkok are absolutely insane. 🌇
