In this episode, Caramel, a non-binary person from Nigeria and a recognised refugee in Cyprus shares their powerful story.

From the challenges they faced in their country of origin to the journey of seeking protection abroad, Caramel opens up about resilience, identity, and survival. They also discuss what it means to live in Cyprus as a refugee and as a non-binary person from an African background, highlighting both the barriers and the strength it takes to build a new life.

A conversation about courage, intersectional identities, and the realities many LGBTQ+ refugees face today.
