Descriptions:
Xian will always remember the summer she turned 15. When her mother, a doctor, leaves on a mission to Africa, she finds herself in the care of her father, a free-spirited photographer. He runs a small photo studio whose kitsch and glamorous atmosphere exasperates the solitary Xian. There she meets his partner’s daughter, Mingmei, a free-spirited and attractive young woman of Korean origin who fascinates her. That summer marks the end of her childhood and the beginning of her troubling teenage desires.
