Descriptions:
The story takes place in Hamburg, Germany, in 1973. Zarah Wolf, a renowned feminist writer, was invited by publisher Frederik Olsen to join Germany’s largest magazine at the time, Relevant, as an associate editor. But when she arrived, she quickly realized that the workplace was dominated by men, with content heavily focused on male supremacy.
Determined to change this, she tried to introduce articles promoting women’s rights—but her efforts led to pushback. The only person who supported her was Frederik Olsen’s daughter, Jenny Olsen.
Jenny was interning at the magazine and had spent time with Zarah during her father’s discussions with her. Deep down, she had always admired Zarah.
After one particularly successful issue—and fueled by alcohol—Zarah kissed Jenny…
Zarah is a lesbian, but she isn’t ready to come out publicly. Her secret romance with her boss’s daughter, along with the reappearance of her ex-girlfriend, fills their love story with uncertainty…
