Descriptions:
Flanders. Demester splits his time between farm work and outings with his childhood friend Barb. He is secretly in love with her and gratefully accepts what little she can give him. Like many of his peers, Demester goes to war, which takes place somewhere far from his home. Cruelty, fear, as well as a sense of comradeship turn him into a real warrior. As the seasons pass, Barb fades away alone, still waiting for the return of the soldiers. Will Demestra save his love for Barb?
