Descriptions:

FLOWER IN WINTER is an award-winning K-Drama short film about an immigrant woman navigating loneliness, resilience, and quiet longing in contemporary Seoul.

Dongmae, a young Korean-Chinese nail artist, lives a carefully ordered life shaped by work, survival, and emotional restraint.

As she moves through a world that offers little room for vulnerability, Dongmae forms a subtle, deeply felt connection with Soohyun, a regular customer whose presence brings warmth and possibility into her days. This unspoken bond — touching on themes of love and same-gender attraction — becomes a fleeting moment of escape before reality forces her back into silence.

A tender social portrait, FLOWER IN WINTER explores immigration, womanhood, and the fragile spaces where human connection can exist. The film captures how moments of love, however brief, can leave a lasting imprint on a life lived between borders.
