Descriptions:
4B is a romantic short film set entirely in one day in Mapo-gu, Seoul — every scene a different hour, the time marked in the upper left corner of every scene from 6:00 AM to midnight. A graphic designer who works from home in 4A. A nurse on shift work in 4B. One wall between them for five years. One day to say everything that the wall already knew.
She left the kitchen light on every shift night for three years so the corridor wasn’t dark at 3 AM.
Hana kept the note in the February book — the one with her favourite cover. Ji-ho designed that cover sick and alone in 4A. Hana bought it one month later not knowing who made it.
The bruised persimmons from the market are sweeter.
Five years is a long bruise.
