Descriptions:
The Orb is a large-scale project I began when I first discovered AI image and video generation back in November, 2024. Part One was developed using only the most basic tools including the original Flux image generator on Krea.ai, video generation from Hailuo and Kling 1.5/1.6, sound from Freesound.org, music from Chosic.com, and meticulously edited with Filmora. All of this was done with no AI agent or LLM, so all story and prompts were written by myself.
It tells the tale of Aliana and Faye, two girls in love who encounter dire circumstances forcing them to grow up quickly and face great danger. It is set in a kind of medieval period on a planet with a plague raging. Together, they encounter a magical orb which saves their lives and, along with Patches the cat, they set out to locate survivors. In part one, we see the backstory of the planet and its mythology and witness the tragedy that befalls the two girls and that brings them together.
Part Two is based on most of the original ideas and quite a few of those initial video generations remain here. I wonder if you can spot them! Anyway, there is a far greater character consistency thanks to new tools.
Part Two continues 6 weeks after the plague took Aliana’s family. She has been reunited with Faye and they learn the incredible power of the Orb which brings great change – including an understanding of the feelings between them. However, they soon realize they must venture out of the dream world it created. There, they encounter the dangers of Darkwood and meet the Fairy Queen, who seems to know a great deal about this ancient artifact. Join them on their adventure as they grow up and learn to trust and love each other and, most importantly, discover how to utilize the Orb of Transformation. Will it be enough to prepare them for the dangers ahead?
