帛琉是位於西太平洋的海島國家，以清澈海水、豐富海洋生態與原始自然景觀聞名，也被許多人稱為「秘境版的馬爾地夫」。
帛琉通用貨幣為美金，電壓為110伏特。
入境時，海關「一定、百分之百」會仔細開箱檢查行李，切勿抱著僥倖心態攜帶違規物品。當地對菸品課稅較高，香菸每包皆需額外繳納相關稅金。
帛琉對防曬用品的規範也相當嚴格，部分含有特定化學成分的防曬產品可能被禁止攜帶或使用，違者輕則沒收重則罰款，個人會比較建議直接在當地購買符合規定的產品。
當地非常重視海洋保育，浮潛或潛水時應避免踩踏珊瑚、觸碰海洋生物，部分區域若違規可能會被罰款。
由於多數行程以跳島、浮潛與出海活動為主，天氣與海況影響非常大，建議預留行程彈性，同時攜帶暈船藥會比較保險。
另外，帛琉多數物資與食物仰賴進口，因此物價通常比想像中高，部分地區網路訊號也不太穩定。這裡更適合放慢步調，好好享受海洋與自然氛圍，而不是安排過於緊湊的旅行方式。

Palau is an island nation located in the western Pacific Ocean, famous for its crystal-clear waters, rich marine life, and untouched natural scenery. Many travelers even describe it as a “hidden version of the Maldives.”
The currency used in Palau is the US dollar, and the voltage is 110 volts.
When entering Palau, customs inspections are usually quite thorough, so don’t assume you can get away with bringing restricted items. Tobacco products are heavily taxed, and cigarettes are subject to additional import taxes.
Palau also has very strict regulations on sunscreen products. Certain ingredients that may harm coral reefs are prohibited, and violating the rules could result in confiscation or fines. Personally, I’d recommend simply buying reef-safe sunscreen locally.
Marine conservation is taken very seriously here. While snorkeling or diving, avoid stepping on coral or touching marine animals, as some protected areas may issue fines for violations.
Since most activities involve island hopping, snorkeling, and boat tours, schedules can be heavily affected by weather and sea conditions. It’s a good idea to keep your itinerary flexible and bring motion sickness medication just in case.
Also, because most food and supplies are imported, prices in Palau are generally higher than many people expect, and internet service can be unstable in certain areas. Palau is best enjoyed at a slower pace — taking time to appreciate the ocean, nature, and peaceful atmosphere rather than rushing through a packed itinerary.
