LGBTQI+ Short Film. K-I-S-S-I-N-G is a coming of age, queer, rom com about making out, growing up, and everything in between. We follow Ruthie through puberty and young adulthood as seen through her first seven kisses. From future rabbis to frat boys to first date doorways, we come along with Ruthie through her saliva-filled journey of discovering herself through the mouths of others.

DIRECTOR’S BIO: Becky Portman (she/her) is a writer and director born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She was a showrunner’s assistant on Peacock’s Killing It. She loves coming of age movies, queer period pieces and horror comedy. As a director, she looks up to Nora Ephron, Edgar Wright, and Mike Mills. She wants to elevate Jewish and queer stories through her work.
